Library

Our Library is a welcoming, inclusive and supportive part of our Academy

It is an important source of knowledge for our young minds, with a wide range of resources that support our students learning and wellbeing.

We have a wide selection of both factual and fiction books which are constantly updated to interest our students and nurture a love of reading.
Students and staff can ask our Library Manager, Ms G Sykes, for any help or advice and check our library dashboard to see what we have to offer in the Library – click here for more information.

We have a number of computers that students can access for learning, homework, Hegaty Maths and Accelerated Reader.

Working with teachers we hold regular library lessons where students can research and study topics related to all subjects.

Peer Mentoring

Miss Hyde and Ms Sykes help run the Peer Mentoring Scheme from the Library which uses Sixth Form students to support younger Students with one to one or drop in sessions.
