Temporary adaptation to the uniform policy due to the weather forecast

Due to the weather forecast predicted for this week, there is a temporary adaptation to the uniform policy. Student can choose to wear one of the following options below:

OPTION 1
  • Purple polo top
  • Black PE shorts (PE shorts are allowed at the normal shorts length, they MUST NOT BE the short hot pants style) 
  • Black PE socks DO NOT need to be worn (We suggest trainer socks)
  • Trainers can only be worn if wearing Academy PE kit

Please note leggings and tracksuit bottoms are not permitted.

OPTION 2
  • White school shirt (top button undone)
  • Uniform trousers or skirt
  • No tie required 
  • Blazers can be left at home
  • Tights are optional. (Please be aware that skirts must be worn at the appropriate length to protect modesty)
  • Normal black school shoes in line with the uniform policy

Please remember, students who do not wish to wear PE kit as in Option 1 will be expected to wear Option 2.

Please ensure your child comes to school with a refillable water bottle and sunscreen. Students will be allowed to wear a sensible sun hat when outside but this must be removed inside the buildings.
