Dear Parents/Carers of year 7 & 12,

Access to Technology

In the event that additional regional or local interventions are imposed, for example a local lockdown, we need to understand students' access to the internet and technology (PC, laptop, tablet) to enable them to engage in remote/online learning.

We recognise the sensitivity of the information we are requesting. Please be assured that a restricted group of staff will have access to the confidential information you supply. This group will comprise the Principal and Vice Principal, your child's Learning Manager and, if appropriate, the academy's Inclusion Coordinator and SEND Officer. The multi-academy trust’s Executive Board will also be aware of the data provided.

It may be necessary for a staff member to contact you to discuss your responses. We will do so using the contact details held on your child’s record. If you have any questions about the survey, please contact Gary Ives (Vice Principal):

The survey should be completed for students who have joined the academy in September in Year 7 or Year 12. If you have more than one child joining the academy, please complete a separate survey for each child. Please submit your survey by Friday 17th September .
