‘Squaring’ campaign: Our Squaring campaign is designed to warn young people about the dangers of criminals recruiting young people to keep money, which has often been acquired illegally, in their account, with the recipient taking a small cut of the transferred money. More information about the campaign can be found on our dedicated webpage here.

A money mule is a person who transfers stolen money on behalf of others, usually through their bank account. Criminals contact people and offer them cash to receive money into their bank account and transfer it to another account. This person is known as a ‘money mule’.
